Home About Prince's Trust Committee Table Hosts Auction Sponsors Gallery Press News

Lunch with an Old Bag is an annual fundraising event that brings together some of the most glamorous and stylish ladies from all over Scotland to raise money for The Prince’s Trust Scotland.

Lunch with an Old Bag was born from an idea that committee member James Thomson had. Very aware of the unfair labelling of young people as losers, layabouts and troublemakers, James was keen to do something to help change this perception. James approached The Prince’s Trust Scotland with the idea to host and fund a unique lunch for some of Scotland’s most influential and high profile ladies to help shine a light on the issues faced by disadvantage young people.

His only condition was that the event was known as Lunch with an Old Bag.
Since the first Lunch with an Old Bag in 2009, over £400,000 (taken from brochure, update figure later if necessary) have been raised to help change the lives of young people. Over the years attendees have placed bids for some amazing prizes such as handbags, pampering sessions and a diamond experience and have enjoyed entertainment from performers such as Lulu, Jason Donovan and Russell Watson.
