About The Prince's Trust

At The Prince's Trust we believe that every young person should have the chance to succeed. Our mission is to give young people in Scotland the skills and confidence they need to live, learn and earn.

An increasing skills gap, youth unemployment, declining mental health and a lack of self-belief and opportunity can be devastating for young people and their communities. But tackling this is possible. The Prince’s Trust in Scotland helps thousands of young people every year to achieve the success and future they deserve. By supporting them in increasing their employability skills, improving their confidence and helping them get into jobs, training, self-employment or education, we are aiming to work with even more young people each year. We will support them to unlock their potential and support them in achieving not just securing a job, but a future they can look forward to.

In Scotland young people need to have an increasing stake in our economy as they are our future decision makers and leaders. But so many still lack the skills, experience, confidence and opportunity, while dealing with other pressures and stresses. Our work, including our programmes, achieve real results so we have a responsibility to act. Three in four young supported by us go onto successful futures by moving into education, work or training.
