At The Prince’s Trust we believe that every young person should have a chance to fulfil their potential. We support 11-30 years olds to build their confidence and learn skills through our free programmes, which are designed to help young people to start a career, re-enter education or set up their own business.
Since we were founded by our President HM The King in 1976, we have helped over 1,000,000 young people, giving them skills for life, confidence to progress and opportunities to secure sustainable employment.
We understand that the impact of youth unemployment can be harsh and lasting, and we cannot allow this to cripple the aspirations and prospects of our nation’s younger generation.
At The Prince’s Trust, we work tirelessly to ensure that no one is left behind. We support thousands of young people each year in Scotland, helping them to see that a brighter future is possible and support them in achieving this. We work with those who are facing the biggest challenges including those struggling with their mental health, are in or leaving care, or face additional barriers due to their gender, race or socioeconomic background.
We have supported young people through times of crisis with committed supporters by our side, with three in four of the young people we work with moving into work, education or training. We have transformed lives and overcame challenges, and with supporters like you, we can make the future a more secure and successful one for our young people.
